Our STEM Clubhouse is designed for open-ended, student-led scientific exploration. At The Science Place, our focus is always on hands-on, experiential learning.
Each month, the clubhouse has a different theme, with participants rotating between several stations. Every child will do their own experiments and make their own discoveries along the way. They will bring home their creations to encourage them to share what they have learned and to stimulate more scientific discussions at home!
STEM Clubhouse activities are designed for a wide range of ages, from preschool through middle school students.
Clubhouse Programs are 60 minutes long and cost $15 per child.
Children under age 5 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver who is admitted free of charge. Children ages 5 and up can be dropped off and picked up after the program ends.
Make your own snow globe!
Learn about density, crystal formation and winter weather. Make a crystal suncatcher and rock candy "ice cave" to grow at home. And we'll make it snow indoors!
