Summer Science Adventures!
Earth Explorers – Now that the weather is warming up, it’s time for some field biology! We’re taking our science explorations outdoors with walking field trips to our local stream and woods. Use digital microscopes to get up-close looks at our plant and animal neighbors. Learn how to sample water quality in streams and meet the amazing invertebrates that live there. Start your own worm gardens and plant competition experiments to take home and learn simple ways you can make your own yard more eco-friendly!

Tech Workshop – Our technology team will be designing and building field sampling gear for our biologists. We'll make a mini-submersible that takes water samples and learn the basics of geographic information system (GIS) technology as we work on creating a virtual map of our local creek.
As always, students in both camps will have free-learning time to pursue their own interests and move between various biology, chemistry, physics and engineering stations.
Fun options for your whole family! Looking to mix things up a little? Try a half day of movement classes with a half day of science! For the same price, you can choose morning movement classes before your afternoon science adventures! See below for class descriptions:

Dance Around the World Camp for ages 3 – 6
9am-12:30pm
Campers will experience a variety of amazing dance styles as
they travel the world! First stop, Paris to learn the origins of
ballet at the Eiffel Tower; then off to Spain for some
Flamenco and Salsa dancing - bring your castanets! Next we’ll
hop back across the Atlantic to the bright lights of Broadway
in NYC, to Chicago, jazz dance capital of the world, and on to
the West Coast for the contemporary grooves of hip hop in
LA. Campers will present a short sample of each for friends
and family on the final day. Come fill your passport as you
dance around the world!
Music Video Starz Camp for ages 7-12
9am-12:30pm
Campers will love this full week of funky Hip Hop fun.
Dancers will learn all the latest moves and choreography as
well as explore their own “free-style” movement personality
and create and star in their very own Music Video to be
presented live on the last day of camp! A commemorative
DVD of the final music video will be included for each dancer!
Ask us about our Counselor in Training Program for
dancers ages 12-16.
