Science Seminars
All science seminars meet Sundays from 1-3pm. We offer 2 concentrations: Tech Team and Research Team. Both teams will collaborate on projects, and students can move between teams at any time to explore topics that interest them. Guest speakers will keep us up to date on science discoveries and tell us about careers in science!
Come explore robotics, electronics, and cybersecurity! We have options for everyone from beginners to experienced tech users. Start with SnapCircuits to learn the basics of electronics, then graduate to Robo-Robo, VEX robotics, and Arduino systems. Our seminar topics are structured around student's interests, so come pick a cool project and we'll help you make it happen!
Tech Team
Come learn about the amazing discoveries scientists are making in biology, astronomy, chemistry and physics! Did you know that astronomers think they've discovered a 9th planet in our solar system? It's 20 times farther away from us than Neptune and it's BIG - 2 to 4 times the diameter of earth! Our seminar topics are structured around student's interests, so come tell us what science fascinates you and we'll explore it!
