The Science Place Comes to Your Camp!

Choose from 2 stimulating and exciting series.
1. Our 30 Minute Express Scientist Program.Great for little ones and economical, too.
  • Choose from nine 1/2 hour programs.
  • Get the same program back to back
(one hour). Cost: $250
  • 25 children per each 30 minute class means we accommodate up to 50 children.*
  • Repeat the program three times (90 minutes) Cost: $50 for the third one.
2. Our Full Hour Master Scientist Program.Perfect for an extra in-depth experience.
  • Choose from twelve full  one hour programs.
  • Each hour program is $250 for 25 children.*
  • Repeat the program again (two full hours)
Cost: $75 for the second one*Over 25 children: $5.00 per additional child.Super Science Summer Programs! 

Express Scientist Programs: 30-Minutes each

1. Rock n’ Roll: Become a geologist as we pan for real gems, organize them, test for iron and keep what you find.
2. Chem Lab 101: Mix up some chemicals to make bouncy “Flubber.” Learn all about acids and bases with our special indicator as chemicals magically change color instantly.
3. Bubble Blast: Have fun doing bubble tricks and playing bubble games. Learn the basics of bubble making and bubble blowing. Create cool bubbles and take home your bubble blower.
4. Edible Science: Every experiment you can eat! We make a cool molecule, gummy candy, and science soda!
5. Flight Command: Discover why the sky is blue. Get ready for a rocket launch and take “...a giant step for mankind,” when we simulate the first moon landing.
6. Water Works: Discover how cool water really is. Make water and alcohol have a tug of war with food coloring molecules! Stab a pencil through a plastic bag and not spill a drop of water!
7. Dinosaur Daze: Become a paleontologist as we become a plant eater. Discover how big the dinosaurs were as we do a cool volume experiment. Have FUN as we learn about layering and you might even uncover a dinosaur fossil.
8. Sunny-Side Up: Discover how the sun gives us heat, light and energy as well as all the colors of the rainbow. Test different sun screen products to see what works best on harmful UV rays. Make your own Solar Picture to take home
.9. Volcanoes: Become a volcanologist. Discover the Ring of Fire. Explore the awesome world of volcanoes as we move magma and make your volcanoes erupt! 

Master Scientist Programs: 1 Hour each

1. I'm Flying!: Discover the different ways to fly as we explore helicopters, planes, jet propulsion and rockets. Make a jet sled and other things that fly to take home.
2. Colorful Chemical Concoctions!: Make colors explode, chemical react and experiment with candy chromatography. Keep your colorful, chemical concoctions.
3. What a Disaster!: Triple up on natural disasters as we discover the power of a tsunami, erupt volcanoes, and make your very own tornado to keep.
4. Beautiful Bugs!: Find out about the most successful animals on the planet as we look at some real live, creeping, critters - up close and personal! Find out how spiders molt, and get a bug's eye view of the world. Take home your very own bug!
5. Gemology: Have FUN as you pan for real gems. Find out how they came to be, what they are, organize them and keep what you find!
6. Ocean Adventure: This adventure is all wet! Discover how sponges eat, different fish swim, why a star fish isn't a fish and where the sand comes from. Make your own ocean biome to take home.
7. Bubble-ology: Find out what a bubble really is as you make your own bubble solution, a mega bubbler, a bubble city plus much more in this fun study of bubbles.
8. The Green Scene : Discover what’s in the air you breathe as you make your own air junk detectors Identify our natural resources, and create an environment containing these natural resources that you can care for at home.
9. Forensic Fun: Become a detective as we lift prints, analyze powders, and use our powers of observation and deduction to find out “Who Done It”!
10. Starry Night: Find out what’s in the night sky and we examine the constellations and learn about shooting stars. Make your very own constellation and a star gazer to keep.
11. Grossology: Have you ever wondered about the really gross things that no one likes to talk about? Things like how spit works, why we “pooh”, and what snot is? Yep! We’ll find out all these things in this program and even make some fake stuff to take home to “gross out” your friends and family.
12. Bridging the Gap: Learn about different bridges and how they support weight as we make models and have FUN. Take home your models.
