The Science Place comes to your camp bringing a choice of 8 different 45-minute programs.

Gemology 

Pan for gems and keep what you find. Find out what you've got, learn why it's special.

Cosmic Adventure 

Blast off with cosmic fun. Hop on a spinning gyroscope. Eat real astronaut ice cream and stand by for a real rocket launch!

Colorful Chemical Concoctions 

Make colors explode, chemicals react and candy chromatography. Keep your concoctions to take home.

 

Munching Molecules 

Learning about molecules can be a delicious experience and we recreate these microscopic units by making some yummy, edible, models.

 

Light The Way 

Find out how incredible our sun really is. Learn about its powers, make shadow puppets, and your own solar picture to take home.

 

By the Sea 

Have fun as we discover how sponges eat, why a star fish isn't a fish and where the sand comes from. Make your own ocean biome to take home.

 

For The Birds

Learn about our fine feather friends. Find out how they build their nests, why eating with a beak is for the birds and build an edible bird's next to take home.

 

The Green Scene

Keeping our planet green is scientific FUN as we reduce waste, reuse materials and make our own recycled paper.

We accommodate up to 50 children in two groups (a total of 90 minutes of hands-on science fun) for the price of $300. per program.

Additional groups (up to 25) will be accommodated for a charge of $100. for each group.

A $50. deposit is required to hold your reservation. This deposit will be deducted from the final program.
